Trouble synchronizing to garmin connect

Why the exercises that I do in my Garmin 910XT not added challenges, groups or connections, while my VivoActive exercises if it do?

    Had no problems last few days now cannot sync

    just recently it takes a couple of attempts to Sync then it says it has synced but not uploaded the activity. It is still on the 910. I have deleted old files and cleared the memory out, but it will still not upload the activity, tried forcing the upload from the 910 manually also. All software is up to date. From time to time it powers itself off after a sync....

    the only thing that has changed on my pc is that I have upgraded to Windows 10, any help is greatly appreciated
