I have just purchased my ForRunner 10. I left it on charge for 4 hours, connected to my computer. One it was charged, I turned it on and downloaded the app for my Mac. After this, it had a software update, which I installed to my Garmin.
Once completed I ejected my Garmin and followed the start up settings, chose km and time for 12 hours. Then it connected to GPS to set time and date. After this is said the date was January and 12:00. Both of these incorrect. Then none of my buttons are working. I checked on how to fixed this problem, reset my Garmin watch with the instructions. Again, the same thing but with the correct time and date. After it is set, none of the buttons work and it 'freezes', as my time does not ever change.
This is highly frustrating as it has not yet been used! I was hoping to run with it tomorrow to practice for a 21km race upcoming this weekend. Yet, no such luck. Please can you advice on how to fix this??
