Garmin segments disappeared from Garmin Connect - now only Strava!?

Hi

Just returned to riding after a long weekend off -- and Garmin segments seem to have disappeared.

Not just from my ride today but possibly for all my rides as they are not being displayed. I do have the following message:

"You are using Live Segments. Browse segments and review progress by using the Strava app on your mobile device or visit Strava.com.

Learn how to use Live Segments.

Any previous segment data on your Connect account has been saved. If you want to use Garmin segments, find the segments feature on your dashboard and access settings."

I hava a Strava account, it is linked, but I have not upgraded to Premium yet, and never requested the switch from Garmin to Strava segments. Nor do I want to switch at this moment.

Anyone else get this and how do I go back to Garmin segments? As instructed I have clicked on "Use Garmin Segments" on the dashboard and it does absolutely nothing.

UPDATE: seems to be a very sluggish, buggy day for GC. After a lot of crashes I managed to get Garmin segments to work again, by minimising the Strava advert on the dashboard that appears over segments, then clicking again on change to Garmin segments and confirming when it questioned whether I really wanted to.. Meanwhile GC is now back to crawling and crashing.

Segments are still there (I think)

In the new app take a look at the bottom icons press the "..." (I guess that is more)

You should see the "Segments" there.

Thanks, it was the top settings icon that didn't work, and I had to minimise the Strava advert first that offered free 3 months of Strava premium before the bottom settings icon appeared.

If I do switch to Strava in GC is there any way to still display the Garmin segments (without switching manually between the two)?

Also are the Strava segments displayed in GC in the activities page in the same way as the Garmin segments?
