Manually tracking run vs walk

Hi, new member here and about to purchase the Fenix 3. I'm wondering is there a way to manually press a button so that my running sessions are separated from walking. I'm very unfit and have started walking for 8-10km every morning and now I am interspersing my walk with a few runs here and there, eg run 100m, walk 200m, then continue to start running once I get my breath back. I'd like to track the % of time spent running vs walking and use this as a motivational tool to increase the running % over time.
