GC shows wrong elevation gain

Hi.
When I upload a gpx file from my oregon 600 to GC, it shows incorrect elevation gain.

This is my latest upload
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/931010253

When I saved the file on the GPS, I saw 433m elevation gain written.
GC.com then displays either 133 or 172 (with/without elevation correction)
If I upload the same gpx file to gpsies.com, I see 433m elevation gain.

Am I doing something wrong?

I use manual upload, since I couldn't get garmin express to work with the Oregon 600 either..

Kind regards
Jacob

I have the same issues. But it seem that its only in GC Connect its wrong. I have checked my FR620 when I am running and data is shown correct on the watch but after uploading the trip it shows another values.

    Best Regards

I had the same exact problem a few weeks ago. Delete the file on GC, upload the original file again from your device with elevation correction switched off. In the future if your GPS has an altimeter then leave GC corrections switched off.

    Hope that helps.

Same problem. Importing a gpx in GC will end up with wrong elevation information (overestimated eg 1300mD+ against 936mD+ actual
