Total distance issue

if i m not wrong the new feature of garmin connect only shows your total distance up to 12 months. However the previous version of the web site allowed you to see the entire distance that you start using your garmin from the very first day.
Someone please tell me that this will be updated or that i m wrong and just couldn't see the link.

Thanks.

thanks for your answer; but is it possible to analyze the lifetime distance for a specific type of activity (like runnng, cycling or swimming seperately) that was what i actually tried to ask.

    thanks in advance.

On the "Reports" page, select the "12Months" tab and then click on the "<" next to the "Today" button. This allows you to cycle back through your data in 12 month chunks.

How do you run a report for year to date activity by type? I run a report frequently in the classic version of my miles year to date for road cycling. Cannot seem to find the equivalent in the new version.

You may find that you can do want you want to if you use "Progress Summary" (Last link on left hand side of the "Reports" page. There seem to be quite a few options to customise dates and activities.

Thank you, that was exactly what I was looking for. Works just like it does in the classic version.
  • I ran 4k today, but my "total distance" in my Today page is 9k - presumably from all the steps not recorded as an "activity". This is great - but there's nowhere in any report or stat where I can see my total distance including these incidental steps - They are all including activities only. I would like ot see how much mileage I've covered, as activities or just walking around... Where can I see that? Thanks
