Sleep Tracking Problem. – Conflicting status report

The Garmin status page refers to the issue of step tracking and sleep tracking and says that the updating issue is solved – but then goes on to say that the service is still limited.

I'm still having problems with my VA – and I gather that other people are as well.

Can anybody cast light on what the true status is – and even maybe when the status page will go green instead of amber

I've seen a similar thing when something like MFP or Segments had a problem, and the fix has been made, but the server is still working on a backlog of data to process and maybe fix/repair.

"limited" in those cases meant "catching up".

I'm not sure that it's fixed though - but I suppose that I will know for sure tomorrow morning.

I sure hope that it is because otherwise I'm about to return my VA to Amazon. It's no good to me unless it does everything it was advertised to do.

And to confirm what you have said, I have just received a message from Garmin

Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe.
I am sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issue with sleep tracking and I am happy to assist.
A fix was released early this morning with regards to the sleep tracking and uploading to Garmin Connect. This has started the process of getting this issue resolved, however not all users may experience this fix straight
away which is why we still have the status of this issue set to limited. Once the fix has been fully Released to all users this will then be reflected on the status page stating 'online' once this issue has been fully resolved.

This is the first comprehensive fully informative message I have ever received from Garmin about this issue or about anything else. Well done Henry.

Why one earth Garmin don't put this message on their status page or on this forum, I can't imagine.

(I hope that this doesn't get modded off as well as my last message ... private joke between me and the mods. :p )
