Edge 500 help

Im using the Edge 500 with a PC which is running windows 10 but all week whenever i connect the 500 to the PC the device is not visible in Garmin connect, when i connect the Edge to the PC the PC makes the usual sound that its connect but nothing, anyone offer any help please?
