Strava and Garmin Express integration - automatic uploading of historic activities?

Hi
I have about 100 activities uploaded to Garmin Connect. I have now linked Garmin Express on my Mac to my Strava account.
Will these historic activities on Garmin Connect now be automatically uploaded to Strava? I have waited about an hour and nothing has appeared yet.
If not, what is the best way to do this.

I have moved this thread into the Garmin Connect forum. The Strava integration does not relate to Garmin Express in any way so you will probably get better answers in this forum.

From Strava´s own help page:

"There are two ways to get the activities you record on your Garmin device into Strava. You can link your Garmin and Strava accounts and enable seamless uploading via Garmin Express, or you can upload activity files manually."

If anyone can help me synch Garmin Connect and my old rides with Strava that would be great, I tried manually exporting the activities in a single file from Garmin BaseCamp where they are all stored, but Strava interpreted these as a single 2,500km mega ride..

On the Strava help page on this topic it says:

"After your first upload, we'll even sync your past 30 days of Garmin Connect activity."
