This lack of a manual upload option on garmin express is an incredible oversight by the Garmin team.
I find it hard to believe that they have just mistakenly omitted the option as it is such a favourite option
used by many who have ALWAYS used it to upload .gpx files/courses onto their garmin connect and then download
those said courses onto their Garmin devices. If Like me you have the old favourite Garmin forerunner 305 then you
cannot use the drag and drop option , as the 305 does not show up as a directory/folder on the pc.
Judging by the amount of posts/ threads on this issue I cannot believe the GArmin Team does not know about this issue, but
have steadfastly refused to answer any questions about it.
As much as I really, really love my Garmin 305, if I cannot now upload new trails/ runs to my garmin connect account
, I will be buying another device which offers me this function.
needless to say it will not be another Garmin device, as it really seems they have stopped looking after their customers
on this issue.
