I too am having the same problem with Firefox and IE.
I'm also experiencing this problem. I'm using a 2015 MacBook Pro and the course creator displays 'loading' whenever I try to create a course using the 'stay on roads' feature. Oddly, this behaviour occurs in each browser I've tried and they include: Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
JavaScript is enabled and I am using the latest version.
I can't for the life of me figure this out. The last time I used this feature was on a PC and it worked fine.
I am also having problems with my old courses i can see them ok but there is no elevation data and courses still not working. I have started using Map My Run for creating courses until this is sorted which works great.
Using Open street maps, it will not follow roads. Just spins the loading thing. I can enter a course with the "follow roads" turned off. Firefox and chrome.

I am also having a problem that looks like no one at Garmin has bothered to fix. Not happy with the poor response. Is Garmin even bothering to monitor these forums???
Just been on the phone to the Garmin help desk as I had the same issue, change the setting from 'Openstreetmap' to 'Google'. That will sort the issue out!! You don't need to use firefox or chrome
