Fenix3 to connect sync for steps and sleep not working. Working for activities

Hi
My Fenix3 has stopped syncing steps and sleep but is still syncing activities.

Any ideas on how to fix. I already reloaded the app and paired again but still not working.

  • Go to device settings in the connect app and ensure its set to be your activity tracker. This should fix it.

    Thanks for the reply. Tried and it was already set to activity tracking. Reset it anyway and still not working. Any further advice or hints appreciated.

  • Are you on ios 9 beta by chance?

    I feel like since I went to the ios beta that my steps only sync when the app is active (and even then... requiring some patience). My activities still seem to make it in when the app is in the background, however.

    Not on iOS 9. It's still not working and driving me crazy... Any other ideas?
  • Steps and sleep by Fenix 3 instead of Iphone 6(plus)

    I had this issue onde after update IOS on My Iphone 6plus.

    This was because Ihealth took my steps and sleep from the sensor in the Iphone 6plus knstead of in the garmin fenix 3.

    I changed this via GC Garmin Connect > toestellen (settings?) > Garmin Fenix 3 > Configure with connectiln to Iphone 6 and telling there again that sleeping and steps must be recorded or uploaded from the Garmin Fenix 3 instead of the Health Setting in IHealth based upon the sensor built in of the Iphone 6(plus).

    You can also check this in the Iphone/IOS control panel Instellingen (settings) >>> privacy >>> app gezondheid (health) >>> app connect >>> and enable all three settings above and beneath.

    Still no luck fixing this problem, I do not have an iPhone, I have a Samsung. Not sure if this will help but it stopped working when we were on holidays in Vietnam.

    Many thanks for all you help. I finally went back and reset everythIng, watch, app and connect account. No it is fixed but still don't know why.
