New 2.13 version iOS app bugs! (Part II)

Hi Guys,
There are still outstanding issues even after trying the fix described here:

I thought it pertainent to start listing the outstanding issues here.
I will compile my particular issues later this eveing but for those of you that have time. Please chime in.

    Resolved

    The alarm function is gone.


    New version of the app released today, settings and alarm issues fixed.
  • since update to iPhone 6 my garmin edge 510 fails to upload every ride pls help!


    same issue with my Edge 810.
    anyone found a solution or do we have to wait for app update with bug fixes?

    810 issue

    I am getting a upload failed since the last update, tried disconnecting/ forgetting device still have the same issue. Having to upload manually.

    Broken

    It doesn't work after the last update, it crashes when I try to open it on my 6 Plus
  • Not Connecting to my iPhone 6

    Last couple weeks something changed and my Forerunner 220 will not connect to my phone. It gets all the way to telling me that it is 'completing' the connection but then quickly tells me that pairing failed. Tried reinstalling the app but it only made it worse. Very frustrating since this was one of the key reasons I bought the watch.

    Vivosmart having Successful sync - but no data appears

    Even after following the directions for pairing / unpairing and deleting, rebooting and reinstalling the app on my iphone, I still have the following problem:

    • Vivosmart will sync -- but the data is not showing up for steps / sleep (therefore, there is no data being sent)
    • I believe this is related to the fact that I have a 920xt (synching to another device) that is set only for swim bike run activities -- and the app keeps turning off the "Make vivosmart the activity tracker" -- even though it is selected in Connect as the step / sleep tracker, it's not sending the data??



    So frustrating:mad:

    Same for me Edge 810 stoped to sync after APP release 1.13 and 1.13.1 and Livetrack stops mid ride. I was a happy user of Edge 800 for years, but this 810 has been having a lot of BT sync issues and crashes from the begining.

  • Just wanted to add that I am also having the Bluetooth uploading problem with my Edge 1000. So it does not seem to be model specific.

    I had to go "old school" this morning after my bike ride and connect my 1000 to my PC via USB to upload my activity.


    I have set my Edge 1000 up to connect to my home Wi-fi network. Rides upload without user intervention and firmware downloads via Wi-fi too. Easy-peasy...

    I should have posted an update. After the last GCM update, My Edge 1000 auto upload function (via Bluetooth) is working 100% fine now. No more issues for me.

    Do you only have the Edge 1000 paired with the phone?

    I have a 920xt and E1000 and the E1000 won't sync via the phone. On the phone it says 'Sync complete' (which is not true) and if I try to force an upload from the E1000, it says 'Upload failed'.

    To add insult to injury, the E1000 randomly reboots if it's connected to the phone at the same time as the 920xt. Lovely....
