Forerunner 220 and no badges

I've been using my forerunner 220 for almost a year and have logged about 500 miles and have never received a badge on garmin connect app. Anyone know how to fix .?

The same problem with my 210

Badges are only awarded for hitting steps targets, so if your device doesn't track steps you won't receive any badges.
