Hello everybody,
As still no update is available for the garmin mobile app on ios to solve the settings issue (mentioned here https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?299773-Vivosmart-update-to-v-3-30-bugs&p=669815#post669815), I tried to remove and the re-add my vivosmart to my garmin profile. However, now I am not able to sync data between my garmin band and my iphone, although the two are paired. I still receive all my phone notifications to my band, but that is it.
I also tried to add and sync my vivosmart to both my Windows and MacOs devices and none of them couldn't find my vivosmart (I used the usb cable, and yes, I pressed and hold the vivosmart's display until the trident appeared...; no device was found).
In short, I cannot add data my garmin profile. What can I do? I'm losing precious steps in daily challenges!!! :P
