I have a notification that a software update to 3.30 for my Vivosmart is available. The current sw is 3.20. The app syncs with my Vivosmart but no update is done. What can I do to update?
It should update after you put it in the clip to charge. If it doesn't work, you might be lucky as 3.30 introduced a bug and a design mistake that should be corrected with the next update after 3.30
For those who have the same problem: I disconnected and reconnected my Vivosmart with the iPad and the update was made after I charged the Vivosmart next.
Further update in my software update mysery... The above worked for the update with 3.30 for some reason, when I tried to update to 3.40 the update was again not done. I disconnected and reconnected again, but this time the update was not done. I did everything the same as before. The support at Garmin is non-existant. So now I am stuck with the bugs of 3.30.
