Garmin 220 won't connect to Iphone via bluetooth

I can't set my garmin and phone to sync anymore. The Garmin connect App shows my 220 is not connected even though Bluetooth is turned on. It used to work but the last few months, no luck :( Anybody have a fix?

    Just purchased 220 and cannot connect via bluetooth to iPhone. I've searched and followed all prior advice, and nothing is working. Wondering if some update recently has caused a problem.

    having he same issue - iPhone 6 iOS 8.3; at one point this connected with no problem - now all of a sudden it can't connect.

    Hi! I am having the same issue. It doesn't want to connect to Iphone 5S. Before I had Iphone 5 and it worked ok for a while and then just stopped to connect automaticaly. Before I was solving it by restarting 220 and the phone and after few attempts it would connect. Now with 5s it doesn't work.:-(

    Same. Used to work fine with iphone 5s, suddenly stopped syncing. The watch could connect to the phone, but sync always fails. Tried reinstalling the app, and now it can't even add the device back on. It pairs initially, and then fails when trying to add.

    Please fix this....
  • Same here. Used to work beautifully until a few days ago. Now the device will connect via BT to the phone, but sync fails, 'device connection error'. Back to having to use the cable and the laptop. Very annoying.

    Same Problem with BT and iPhone

    Yep. Same here. Will not connect to (nor is it even seen by) my iPhone 4s running 8.4. Connected on July 12 (2015), but has not connected since. I have cycled the power on my 220 and hard rebooted by iPhone, but to no avail.

    I have same problem. I have tried everything but all I get is sync failed. It issued to work fine on iPad and iPhone 4s, it then stopped working on my iPad and then since upgrading my iPhone nothing.!
