Happens all the time now: Fenix 2 Bike activities loaded as "Other" in GC with no Cadence Data - I choose BIKE on Fenix 2 - cadence shows on data pages and picks up cadence - finish activity. And save and upload via Bluetooth to Iphone through GC app - activity then appears as OTHER with no cadence - never had this issue with 910xt....
I got the same issue, the problem was that I had modified my default bike page so my activity was recognized as Other.
To fix it you will need to reset to default settings for the activity. in Settings -> Activities -> Bike -> Reset.
