Calorie split - BMR & Active (Healthkit sync)

I'm wondering if there is a way to split your BMR and active calories when syncing with Apple Health.

Currently, my Fenix 3 will sync with Garmin Connect and upload a total calories figure - including both active and BMR counted through the activity tracker. The result of this is that Health is updated with one single figure in the 'active calories' section: being the combined total of active cals and BMR. Realistically, this should be split between the 'active calories' and 'resting calories' categories in Health.

If there isn't currently a way to make that split happen, it would be great to hear Garmin's plan regarding this issue going forward. At the moment, the resulting data is fairly useless.

Thanks

I guess that is as good an answer as we will get from Garmin?

FWIW, I agree that putting the split data into health kit would be useful.

It would also be useful it the app didn't put duplicate entries into health kit.
