I hate it, too many clicks and searching for stuff that was on the home page before. What's up with "Dashboard", what the point of showing just the distance and time of the last ride and have the rest of the screen completely empty, has this been designed for a Watch??? This is not the reason why we buy high resolution smartphones.
It's awful. Why waste all that space on the home screen showing me only my last activity? I want my activities list back on the home screen. Seriously, who designs these changes? Do they have actual users beta test? Answer: no.
I am new to Garmin so I have tried to be patient for the last 4 months so I can learn Connect. But what a piece of garbage. I use computers every day, even build my own PCs but this is the most difficult unintuitive thing I have seen in many years. Can't find things where there should be, can't do what I want to do. THIS IS JUST A SHAME THAT A MAJOR COMPANY LIKE GARMIN WOULD PUT OUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS. Good comment earlier, who decides what changes are made and who tests these things? Certainly not a user.
Another case of GEEKS GONE WILD in their own world not understanding ours.
However Garmin support is also very, very, very bad so I think this is a management problem! I love rhe Edge 1000. Plenty of bugs but the basic functionality is great. Too bad they don't follow through with support, software like Connect and bug fixes. A corporate mess that could easily go the way of Blackberry!
For every one that hates it there will be many that love it. You can't please all of the people all of the time I'm afraid. Some folks can't cope with change, others like things the way they are because it suits their particular method. That's life.
We're not talking about software in general but the layout, horrible. Before scrolling the page you had everything on hand, now you have to look in the sidebar. is not found. iphone is not working the slide side.
