Activities automatically incorrectly named

Hi,
Both mine and my wife's runs (activities) are being automatically named "crossmaglen running" for no apparent reason. They are usually named "untitled" I have no idea why this is. Crossmaglen is a place in Ireland a long way from where I live - at least 100 miles. Does anyone have any idea why this might be. Many thanks. John

Out of curiosity, approximately where do you live (could you post a link to a google map to within a few kilometers/miles of the activity you are having problems with)?

Hi I'm having the same problem with my forerunner 620 showing crossmaglen and kilkeel ,
I live in lucan was just wondering did you get it sorted?

There was a post in the top level garmin connect forum, that at least in parts of the UK, the location used for names was actually something like the voting precinct, and not the name of the town. So, you might be seeing something like that - you are seeing the name for a section of the town you are in and not the name of the town. In the US, I consistently get the name of the city or town where I start.

same problem here so what I did is just to edit manually.

I'd also love to know the reason. I'm getting Kilkeel and I live on the south side of Dublin city. Any help would be much appreciated. It does sound like a setting or glitch within Garmn connect based on some dodgy geotagging
