Problem with adding twitter channel to "live track"

When I want to add the social channels to the "live track", I have no problems adding the Facebook part, but when I'm adding the twitter channel, The application stalls and shows an empty white box on the bottom.

Do more people have this problem? (BTW I have 2 twitter accounts configured in my Iphone)

I cannot find any other workaround to solve the situation then remove the app from my IOS device and re-install and configure it back to the original state, but in case add the twitter channel channel.

Is there any other solution? More people having this problem?
  • Hi,

I had the same issue with Garmin Connect Mobile on iOS 8 (iPhone 6). I also have multiple Twitter accounts configured in the Twitter app, and it seem to be the problem here. The only way to get LiveTrack working with Twitter is to have only one Twitter account into the Twitter app...
  • Garmin Connect Live will not connect with Twitter

I am having the same issue. I have been on the phone with Garmin IT Dept. They are working on a fix for us that have multiple Twitter accounts and suggest for now to only use Facebook to run live and wait for the update.

Garmin support, any news? How simple is it, to update this, as it was working before? Repair this regression and don't disappoint your loyal users.
  • It's a problem with multiple Twitter accounts, I removed all but 1 account and it works. It's crazy their developers never thought someone could have multiple accounts. It takes like 10 minutes to write the code that handles this properly.
