Edge 810 firmware updated & now second 810 in Connect Mobile?

When I updated my Edge 810 to v3.4 I had to re-pair my 810. Now I see two 810s in Garmin Connect Mobile.

Any suggestions of how to remove the "old" one? How do I identify which is the old one?

The selection for "Remove a Device" doesn't show either 810s. I do see my Forerunner 920.

Last time I had this problem I uninstalled Connect Mobile from my iPhone and re-installed it. I'm hoping there's a smarter way to fix this problem.

To fix the problem, I uninstalled GC from my iPhone, then re-installed. There was no need to pair as both my 920xt and 810 had already paired with this phone.

After logging in with my existing account, Connect Mobile shows both devices. The 810 is no longer duplicated.

I'm having the same problem however in my case uninstalling and reinstalling GC did not remove the duplicated device. Also, since the update I am now getting "sync failed" when I try and sync through GC mobile.

Was there anything else you did other than just remove the GM from your iPhone and then reinstall?

Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions?
  • This is a known, and ongoing, issue.

I've had 2 810's listed in GC on my iPhone for months. I don't think it has anything to do with the firmware update.

If you unpair, uninstall, reinstall, and re-pair, you will probably get one 810 listed in GC for a bit ... but when you sync the device using GC it will duplicate again. At least that's what happened with me.
