Data exchange with My Fitness Pal

Garman connect has not gotten calorie consumed data from My Fitness Pal for 4 day. MFP has not gotten any activity data in that same time. Anyone else seeing similar issues?

I had a similar problem last month, but it only lasted about 36 hours.
  • I've had MFP removed from my iPhone for the past few days and all synching was fine. Put it back on and synching failed immediately. Conclusion...?

    I am also having this problem - can't get calorie info to sync. So you are saying remove the app from the phone and this fixes the problem?

    This fix didn't work for me - on my phone it told me it needed the app in order to sync, and on the computer it spins endlessly.

    To be precise, synching with the iPhone and the 920 work without any problems in the absence of MFP. Downside of that is that calorie information is lost. However, until the team get the synching working properly I'd rather lose the calorie information than keep tearing my hair out when another synch failed.

    My MFP was working fine a week ago until I added a new device. It still adds negative calories on Garmin Connect with activities but obviously wont sync over to MFP or the other way around. I get the unending Sync Circle also. Kind of frustrating as it was working fine until I added a new device. Now I just add the negative calories manually, in my head. Not as convenient, but that is my only work around. Any fix coming for this Garmin?

    It hasn't synced properly in about a week. Very frustrating indeed. You can sync using the GC Web, but that is annoying and I think it is only a one way sync, only bringing Calories from MFP to Garmin Connect and not syncing in the other direction. I emailed Garmin and got a reply that they are working on an upgrade to the app. They suggest that you disconnect and reconnect MFP. That fix is just a waste of time. It doesn't do anything.

    I got this from MFP support, after the above link was posted.

    My apologies for the trouble you are experiencing with Garmin. I can assure you our developers are working closely with the Garmin team to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they have not yet found the root of the problem and do not yet have a time frame for when this will be resolved.
