New iPhone6 Won't Pair/Sync with Vivofit - Help Please

Just purchased a new iPhone6 and had previously paired my vivofit with my old phone, an iPhone4s with everything working fine. Went to pair and sync Vivofit with new phone and was unsuccessful multiple times. It seems like my new phone doesn't recognize the vivofit. Checked bluetooth connectivity and everything looks good. Are there steps to syncing/pairing when you have a new phone? Thanks

I had the same problem with the iPhone 6 when I upgraded from the iPhone5. I had to delete the app off my phone then re download it. It took me through the initial set up and pairing again and works fine now.

    Pos

Deleted app, rebooted phone, added app, attempted to pair multiple times and still won't pair. Anyone got anything else?? Thank you in advance. (iPhone 6)
  • Try this

I had similar issues with my 920XT here

What worked for me is this:

Open GCM, double press home, open any other app, then double press home again, choose GCM and a sync seems to get triggered

    Forcing a sync on a 920XT - solution worked!

Thanks Nick! This has been driving me crazy for months. I would make sure the bluetooth was active on my watch, then open GC on my iPhone 6S - and wait. I would swipe down in GC, which would initiate the blue buffering icon, which I thought was telling it to update, but that basically never worked. I've only tried this once, but it worked like a charm. I hope this works, as I like to check in during the day to see where I am with the steps challenge, but can never get GC to sync. I just had to wait and every once in a while, seemingly at random, GC would actually sync. My new mantra "Open GCM, double press home, open any other app, then double press home again, choose GCM and a sync seems to get triggered".

    Bluetooth pairing resolved

Just had a very frustrating  time getting my brand new Vivoactive to pair with my iPhone6. Out of the box, when I tried to do the initial pairing, I got to the point in pairing where you type in the PIN number, but it seemed to stop im the middle and after that, nothing I did, including removing the bluetooth pairing, reinstalling app, etc helped.

I finally got things working by plugging the device into my computer and using the Garmin Express app. There was a new firmware to install which had "improved bluetooth" modifications. So I installed that and rebooted the watch, but still it would not pair. Rebooted the phone, then it finally asked for the PIN number again after trying to pair. In the middle of that, the watch rebooted and so I had to remove the watch from my iPhone bluetooth settings and try again. Thankfully, the second attempt worked and I am now finally paired up.
