I can't skip songs when listening to Spotify. Skip only works with the standard music app in iOS 8.
It would be great if this could be fixed. One of the main reasons I bought this device was to be able to skip songs easily while running...
I would also love this feature! I only use Spotify and it would make my Vivosmart the ultimate smart watch if I could control my Spotify music controls through the watch. Other bluetooth device I have manage to control the Spotify controls, so it mustn't be impossible :P
In my opinion it just seems so werid that they didn't include full support for the iphone media center in the first place, why should it matter which app you use it for ? It's irritating that they would assume we get all our music from itunes and even force us to, if we were to use this band. If they still refuse to do something about this, I would strongly advise them to capitalize the fact that it "ONLY SUPPORTS NATIVE MEDIA PLAYERS"
If my car can connect via bluetooth and control Amazon Music, then I'm assuming the vivosmart COULD as well. Please consider this for a firmware update in the future. On going support for a device is the mark of a great company.
There's probably no news on when this will work? I was going to buy a vivoactive last night until I found out that it wouldn't work with Spotify on IOS :(
