Can no longer upload my training?

Since installing the new ios 8.02 and the new GC update, I can no longer upload my training. I get sync errors almost immediately. Any help here? It doesn't say anything specific. I'm using a Fenix 2, so its OTA syncing. I've tried using the cable, to no avail. I've also deleted all former history and uploading a new event. Nada.
  • It also hangs often on GPS update.

I have v. 4.00 on my watch installed.
  • It's a device connection error. I've forgotten the device and repaired in bluetooth. No problem recognizing and connecting to the phone but syncing = ???
  • Bump - I'm still waiting for an answer. Still no connectivity. Now I get a network error and a device error.

You have to switch off the auto upload in Garmin Connect.
"Appareils" "Paramètres" "Paramètres de l'appareil" "Téléchargement auto"
  • Alright...it magically worked today (nothing I did to change anything). So if something was done on the back end great otherwise, phew.

I've been having same issue with my Fenix 2...

I have been having issues uploading my recent activities to Garmin Connect via BlueTooth direct to my iPhone. I repeatedly get a 'Sync Failed, Network Error' on my phone via the Garmin Connect app.

I use a Fenix 2 watch with up-to-date software (v 4.00). My Garmin Connect app is also current. I use an iPhone 5s with current iOS 8 software.

I have tried turning BlueTooth off then on. I have closed and reopened the App and have also restarted the phone and Watch. And, I have unpaired and re-paired the watch to the phone. But to no avail, this issue persists. It has occurred in multiple locations and has been an issue for the past 3 days.

And per one on the recommendations above to turn 'Auto Upload' off: when I do that, the sync works. However, the activity does not show up on my activity list...
  • I'm Having the same problem with iOS 8.1 and my fenix 1 (latest firmware). Sync errors every time I try to upload tonight's run via iOS app and bluetooth.

it would be so great if garmin themselves could /would jump on board and help with these problems. i have the same issues, have tried uninstall of mobile app, tried master reset of garmin 810. paired and unpaired countless times, done master reset of network settings on iphone, yet still get sync error message! "frustrated "does not even begin to describe how i feel!
