Upload Route from IOS to device

Is there any way of planning a route on Connect, then uploading it to a device, in my case the edge 1000, without the use of a PC to save it to at some stage? I can save routes on Connect, but when it comes to 'send to device' Safari says it can't find the site.

Hello Tony:

Many browser functions are not working on the mobile App, and viceversa. If you have a course created in Garmin Connect browser, then you can send to your device through the Garmin Connect Mobile App. So in fact you don't need a laptop, although doing this type of functions in iPhone is really complicated (creating a course, or exploring other users activities or creating a course from an activity, ...).
