The Garmin Connect Mobile app is displaying work from my power meter in "Cal". This just changed recently for no reason I can think of. How do I switch it back to kilojoules?
I am guessing here... Maybe Garmin changed it to calories because everyone seems to be counting them these days. It seems logical to add an option to flip between them.

But this is the mechanical work actually delivered to the chain. The calories I burn from food is 4-5 times larger. Kilojoules is the term everyone uses for work; no one uses calories.
It really is an issue, yes. I've got Garmin Connect set to use Metric, but it still uses the imperial system (calories) for energy rather than the metric system (kilojoules). They may as well be using furlongs while still telling me I'm using metric for all the good that does me.
