Hi-
I have some questions about how daily calories are calculated with Vivofit. I know height, weight and age are factors but how does activity level specifically contribute? Here's my fear: I'm afraid that I'm double-reporting calories if I say I'm "moderately active" and ALSO report my workouts in addition with the HRM. If selecting "moderately active" causes the device to 'assume' I'm working out 3-4 times a week, then would reporting those workouts on top of that result in the same calories being accounted for twice? Would it be more accurate to say I'm mostly "sedentary" and then log my activities on top of that?
I hope this makes sense...
Also, it would be really nice if the mobile app had the ability to modify activity level in personal settings. Also also, when I change my height/weight in personal settings it doesn't save. The next time I go in it has reverted back to the previous info. Also, also, also I am fairly sure the Vivofit is grossly overestimating my steps. I notice that customer service has been responding to these, it's be great if these features could be addressed! Thanks.
