Devices won't pair with Garmin Connect Mobile App

My Edge 510 won't pair with GC App on iPhone having previously done so without problem. Got a vivofit today and that won't pair with the phone either. Bluetooth on the phone is working OK as it still pairs with car handsfree.

Any ideas?

    you figure this out? cause i have the same issue with my edge 510 and my iphone 4s. I updated the software and now it won't pair
  • I have the same issue. My Garmin Edge 510 suddenly stopped connecting via bluetooth to my iPhone 5s. The phone works with a host of other bluetooth items I own so this leaves me to believe its a garmin failure. I just updated the edge 510 to the newest software and it still won't work.

    I find the garmin device to be very buggy and not very reliable. Very disappointing. I expected so much more. I still have corrupt files on the unit and can't read the data. Such a shame.

    I wish somebody from Garmin would help solve this issue.

  • I bought a 510 two weeks ago. Paired and worked with iphone 4S running ios 7. Then I plugged 510 into USB and let it update firmware. Now it won't sync. Wish I had seen this thread first.

    I'm a little late on this question, but since I just applied several firmware updates and ran into the same problem, I figured I'd post. After applying the updates, my Edge 510 would not connect to my iPhone 5s. After trying various reboots without success, I found that all you need to do is go into the iPhone's bluetooth settings and tell it to forget the Edge 510 device. The follow the normal instructions for pairing like it's a new device.

    Edge 810 not pairing

    I have a new 810 and it paired fine for my first activity download but this I updated the software onto the device via it being plugged into the computer. Now it wont pair. I have removed the app from the my iphone5s but I am having no luck at all. Any suggestions
  • Solved. I don't know why I didn't think of this before.
