*FIXED: Daylight Savings Time Issue (Vivofit v2.40)

There was an issue with the Vivofit time not changing in accordance with Daylight Savings Time as it's supposed to automatically do after syncing. An update to the Vivofit (version 2.40) has been released that will correct this issue. To apply this update, please sync your Vivofit with either the Garmin Connect Mobile app or the Garmin Express Client. After the Vivofit is updated, please sync it with the Garmin Connect Mobile application once more and the time will automatically adjust.

Thank you once again for your feedback!
  • I synced my vivofit to attempt to install the update to 2.40, and in the process it failed! My vivofit is now frozen (displays the step count, and the button does not cycle through screens). How can I reset the device and sync it?

The time on my vivofit froze. When I tried syncing it to my computer it synced all the data ok but then it got stuck in the pairing mode (that you have to do when you first get your device). I have told de garmin express client to forget the device and tried pairing it again. This failed. Now the only thing it does is show the word pair and the number 2726. How can I fix this?

I downloaded Garmin Express Client and synced. The time is still wrong on the Vivofit. What next?
  • Took two syncs on my device. Sync, sync again. Correct time.

    synch does not solve issue

This instruction does not work. Also, step count is way off for synching.
