Will not sync to 220

Ever since the latest update, my garmin 220 will not sync to the connect app (on iPhone). A red box comes across the bottom saying it's unable to, even though it'll find my device. When it gets to the downloading stage it fails. It's VERY frustrating. Prior to the most recent update it would sync my runs, even though sometimes it would crash. I prefer it to crash from time to time than not sync/download my runs at all! Is there something I can do to make it work?

    I have the same problem. I´m using software version 2.20 on my 220. I think the sync worked fine some days ago, so I suspect this issue was introduced with the Garmin connect version 2.0.1 (iOS) which I installed 4/3/2014.
