*FIXED: Activities List Issue (GCM v2.0)

For those of you experiencing issues regarding viewing your Activities List (only seeing three (3) activities, being redirected to "Go to Getting Started" or https://connect.garmin.com/help/start, etc.), a fix is currently in the works. We are submitting a build to Apple that should fix this problem. This update will be released once it has gone through Apple's approval process, which typically takes around 24-72 hours.

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

    Icon issue

However, my bike activities show up as unknown unless I use the root cycling activity. If I use indoor cycling (trainer), the app doesn't know what it is.

Same with me (I just get a dot icon) yet my running activities get a runner icon. Weird.
Is there another thread already dealing with this (to prevent hijacking this one)?

On my old 910XT, when I worked out in the gym (weights / strength) I would select the activity of "other" rather than running and I would get a "dot icon".
Are you sure you are selecting RUNNING as the activity before going out on your run?
Sorry to ask such a simple question.

No worries. That's the weird thing, they show the cycling icon on the PC where they were uploaded when viewing Connect through a browser.

Okay - read through the posts. Solution to see activities is to change the clock setting on my iPhone to 24 hr format. Really? Anyway, did it and hey presto the 'lost' activities do indeed appear. Switch it back to 12 hr and Boom!, gone!. Be honest, you have to admit that's pretty pathetic. Seems like some pretty poor programming and testing prior to roll out. Really doesn't inspire confidence in Garmin. I was in touch with a member of the Garmin support help desk who, obviously somewhat overwhelmed with queries, advised me that the problem was because my Edge 510 and Forerunner 210 were not compatible with my iPhone 5S and the app thereon. Sigh! Am about to inform said individual of the solution to save her any embarrassment at not being given the proper information by the Company. Garmin - must do better. There is a loyal following out there - you are in danger of losing that loyalty.
  • DARNBY - we must all be wrong because the thread title says *FIXED
  • FWIW - latest version 2.2 - still not fixed
