Garmin connect & mobile IOS not reflect metric

Neither desktop garmin connect (using IE 8/ chrome/ safari) saves my personal preference to metric. Not change time either. Was small consolation that i was able prior to garmin connect mobile 2.0 to view my activities in metric but since the update even mobile now indicates data in miles despite setting on metric. Now i have a completely useless device since i am unable to share and analyze my data with my nutritionist. Had previously emailed garmin to no avail. I used to rave about garmin previously but now all i want to do is drive over my FR70 and heck while i am at it best drive over all my other garmin devices too!

I Agree with the metric settings issue. My forerunner 220 is set to metric with my connect app and shows some metrics but summary, laps, altitude data etc all in ft/miles. Please Garmin update so i don't have to sit here and convert it with a calculator to make it useful.
Units in settings should apply to all data.
    Thanks

Same here, had to inquiries into support, have been pushed to the forum where i find no answers. Garmin not interested into non-US/UK market?
  • No problems here to set the web version of Connect to use metric units. While the option to set the units in the iOS Connect app doesn't work properly, it does respect the settings made on the Connect website. So once you select the proper units on the website, the app uses them too.

Hi Javawa - how did you change the settings to metric on the web version of Connect?
  • Log in to connect, click your username in the tp right corner, select Settings > Display Preferences
