• Upgraded to 2.0... was crashing when I was trying to start up Livetrack. So, I deleted the device connection... but now, it won't find it anymore! I tried deleting the app, and then re-installing... still nothing! Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

I had to go back into my FR220 settings and tell it to repair through the bluetooth settings.

Fred, I would suggest deleting the app and then reinstalling it. That worked for me and others. Also, as a note, after reinstalling the app I had to go back into my FR220 bluetooth settings and tell it to repair to the phone because after the reinstall the phone and watch were not pairing. The repairing worked and everything is working well now.
• And in case you missed it.

As well as deleting the app and re-installing, suggest you delete all the activities from your device (Download them manually first if possible) before the first sync.

Seems it gets hung up if the sync takes too long or has too much data. My 810 is now syncing well, Livetrack works and I've done a couple of rides 100km+ and it seems to handle the sync OK.

I can't pair my fenix 4.05 beta with garmin connect 2.0. :(

Re Fenix 4.05: +1 to that - tried deleting app and reinstalling but that didn't work either.

Can't connect to Tactix, app cant find My watch. Tried to delete app, reboot iPhone and reinstall but no luck.
Basecamp app connects to Tactix with no problem.
Iphone 5 iOS 7.0.4
Tactix fw 4.0

Same story as Mario. Garmin Connect doesn't find my Tactix (fw 4.05 beta). Basecamp Mobile works fine. Phone is iPhone 4s

Be sure to check the updated beta software release for the Fenix/D2/Tactix, which can be found here. Recent change history includes:

Changes made from version 4.11 to 4.12:
- Fixed possible shutdown on power up introduced in 4.11
- Issues with this beta software may be reported to [email protected]
Changes made from version 4.05 to 4.11:
- Added support for Garmin Connect Mobile app ( automatic uploads, LiveTrack, faster GPS from downloaded satellite data file )
- Improved ski mode features
- Improved workout support
- Fixed issues with connecting ANT+ sensors
- Fixed issue with UTC time in watch mode

To avoid confusion, please try to keep posts regarding the Garmin Fenix within the following thread: Garmin Fenix Compatibility

I am unable to get my 620 to work with the new version of the app.
I've uninstalled the app from iPhone multiple times and reinstalled it but Garmin Connect still won't detect it. I am unable to delete the device from the Device menu within the app which seems crazy. There is no Delete option any longer.
I've turned the phone into Flight mode and also disabled Bluetooth on both phone and watch and still can't get a connection when re enabling them.

Within the Bluetooth settings on iPhone I do not see a device to remove from there.

Others have mentioned doing a repair of Bluetooth on their fr220 devices but I can't see this setting on the 620.

Gotta admit this is getting a little frustrating. Suggestions?

JEDI_SCHULTZIE: I'm sorry to hear about the pairing issues that you're experiencing. I would suggest walking through the pairing steps one more time, just in case something is being overlooked. The following steps explain how to pair the Forerunner 620 to the Garmin Connect Mobile iOS application:

Note: Only compatible with the iPhone 4s and later, iPad 3 and later, iPad mini, and the iPod Touch 5.
1. Place the iOS device within 33 ft. (10 m) of the Forerunner.
2. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the iOS device (see iOS device manual for details).
3. From the Forerunner home screen, access the Bluetooth settings.
o Forerunner 620: Select Menu > Settings > Wireless > Bluetooth.
4. Select 'Pair Mobile Device'.
5. On the iOS device, open the Garmin Connect Mobile application.
6. Touch the Menu button (3 lines) located in the upper-left corner.
7. Touch 'Devices'.
8. Touch '+' in the upper-right corner to add a new device.
9. Touch the desired model of Forerunner to pair with.
o If the desired Forerunner does not display on this screen, ensure that you are using a compatible iOS device, the iOS device is running the latest version of iOS, and the Garmin Connect Mobile application is up to date.
10. Touch 'Start'.
11. Ensure the Passkey shown on the Forerunner matches the one shown in the application.
12. Touch 'Yes'.
13. Touch 'Done' to complete the pairing.

Please let me know if you continue experiencing these Bluetooth pairing issues. Thank you!
• My iphone having died, I was using an Android phone for a few weeks - the 2.0 version worked 100%, no issues including livetrack.

Back onto iOS this week, I installed GC mobile 2.0 and straight away had bluetooth sync problems and livetrack crashing every time.

Deleted and reinstalled the app, and bingo, seems to sync ok and livetrack doesn't crash.

I preferred the android experience because, so long as the bluetooths were on, it would connect automatically and upload activities at the end of a ride automatically. With iOS I'm constantly having to Allow the connection to be made.

ETA: actually, now that i've reinstalled the app, it uploads to GC without insisting on Allowing and opening the app. So all good for me.

GCMSUPPORT: thanks for the detailed instructions. Stepping through that process has resolved my issue and my 620 is now paired with my iPhone. The step I was missing was selecting Pair Mobile Device because the 620 was saying Waiting for Connection in the Bluetooth screen.

Thx for the help!
