Although the App needs some work to get stabilized, most of functions I expect from an App are available. For me, there is one feature I would really like to have and that is the agenda. It would be great to also have the GarminConnect agenda available in the app and of course the possibility to sync it with my FR620.

I too would like this. The extra real-estate on the iPad means you could do an app version of the new Garmin Connect site with widgets. That would be awesome and easier to use than viewing the website in the iPad browser.
