Upgraded iPhone and Cannot Pair Forerunner 245

I upgraded my phone and restored from back-up. Cannot get my forerunner 245 to pair with the new iPhone 18 Pro.

I’ve tried all the solutions mentioned such as restarting both devices, unpairing in BT settings, attempt with/without pairing mode enabled on the watch, deleting the app - multiple times and still the same issue.

I have also tried removing the decide from Garmin connect, added / removed from Garmin Express (Mac), and eventually set up the watch as new. Nothing is working.

Very annoying; anyone able to resolve this?

    I do not have a solution, although am in a similar situation, with Iphone 16 and IOS 27.0.1. It’s nothing that you nor I are doing wrong and the ‘workarounds’ that seem to have worked for some people haven’t worked for either of us.

    Bottom line, seems like we’re going to have to wait for Garmin to release a fix, which annoyingly, hasn’t been done in the latest release of the app in the last week, although this issue has been ongoing since earlier this year… I did try and replicate this scenario using an old Iphone8 with IOS 16.7 and it all works seamlessly. Therefore, I would suggest something has gone awry between software, and possibly hardware increments.

    I actually figured it out myself in the end. GoOpen Garmin connect app on your phone and go into settings - connected app. Turn everything off. Then try pair the watch again, that’s what worked for me.
