Hello Garmin Team and Community,
I would like to suggest three feature requests for the Garmin Connect app that would greatly improve the User Experience (UX) and social engagement within the platform:
- 1. Collective Summary in Group and Individual Challenges
Currently, challenges only show individual rankings. It would be amazing to see a total, cumulative summary of steps or kilometers achieved by all participants combined (e.g., "Total collective group effort: 1,500,000 steps"). This would introduce a great cooperative element to the challenges, motivating users to achieve common goals together. - 2. "Clear All Notifications" Button
Right now, users have to open or delete notifications one by one, which is very time-consuming for active users with large networks. Please add a single "Clear All" or "Mark All as Read" button in the notification tab to easily clean up the feed. - 3. "Select All Connections" when creating a Challenge
When inviting friends to an individual challenge, we currently have to manually click and select each user one by one. For anyone with dozens of connections, this is a tedious process. Adding a simple "Select All" checkbox would make organizing community challenges much faster and more user-friendly.
Thank you for considering these improvements! I believe they would make the Garmin Connect app much more modern and enjoyable to use.
