As of the latest update today in iOS store August 13, after the update, Fenix 8 watch is taking more than 1 minute to synchronize with the app and just showing running man icon.
iOS version: 26.6
Troubleshooting attempted:
tried rebooting phone
reinstall Garmin connect app
tried unpair the watch and re-pair
none of these work.
This only started happening with today’s August 13 update, something in the update has broken the previous fast sync behavior.
