Bug report: cannot send location to Edge 540

I found a problem with Garmin Connect iOS app 5.27.2.

I'm trying to send map location from my iPhone to Edge 540 as usual:
Find something in Apple maps, using share button send it to Garmin Connect, after a while my device appears, but when trying to send the location to it, nothing happens. I'm tapping the button "start workout", but no reaction - no usual spinner popup, no error, simply nothing happens.

It used to work on last Sunday (09 Aug). Then probably my phone auto-updated the app when it was charged and today it did not work anymore.

Same issue with my Epix Pro. The 'Do Workout' button doesn't work, but if you press anywhere else on the banner it sends it!

Appears to be the wrong way round!

I'm not sure if the video will help at all. The iOS screen recorder does not record where I try to tap the screen. I currently don't have secondary phone at hand to film it using camera.
Anyway, when sharing any location from the Apple Maps, the following screen appears (my system is in Polish). Tapping the button marked in red does not do anything. However as @CRB suggested, clicking somewhere else in the gray area outside button works.
