SWbug: trailrunning activity/mode not counted for badges

Question

3) SWbug: trailrunning activity/mode not counted for badges -> now in the EN forum opened too 
 SW Garmin Conect App, SW 5.27.0.15 My Clock: Forerunner 165, SW 28.05 latest 
 I observed it now multiple times: the badges (wanderer/explorer...) they intended to count both hiking and trailrunning (after trail selected) but the App "trailrunning" is not working, besides "hiking" is working. For "trailrunning" no trail selection at all possible. why. 
 So please enable the trailrun-mode for this badges. 
 This issue might be on all other Garmin clocks too.

trux made a good point, this badge is for trail running or hiking a Garmin Trail. Here is a troubleshooting article about Garmin Trails and how to get them to sync with the device: Using Garmin Trails.

If you still to continue to see issues for the badge not populating after doing an activity on a Garmin Trail, please let me know so we can take a closer look into this.
