Incorrect menstrual cycle callendar

Hello,

I believe I have found a bug in the Women's Health feature in Garmin Connect.

As shown in the attached screenshots, the predicted menstrual cycle is clearly incorrect despite my cycle settings being configured correctly.

The app appears to be unable to correctly calculate a simple 28-day cycle.

This honestly makes me question the reliability of Garmin's health features as a whole. If Garmin Connect cannot correctly calculate something as basic as a menstrual cycle, how am I supposed to trust its other health metrics and predictions?

Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue?

Thank you

  • I'm not quite seeing the concern here. Looking at the date for the 30th in the first screenshot that is day 1 of your cycle. Counting from there the next predicted cycle is on the 28th of July.

  • Are you serious? Can you ask someone who actually knows or uses the app for help, or do I have to explain it to you?

The bright, stupid pink marks the previous cycle that I manually added. The darker, stupid girly pink marks the predicted one.

So let me ask you a few questions:

What is the actual date when the screenshots were taken? (Here's a little hint: it's on the screenshots.)

What is the last manually added cycle?

What is the first day of the predicted period?

Can you count the days between them?

Is it 28? I don 't think so.

This issue causes the app to ask me every time I open the calendar whether my period has started because it incorrectly assumes it will start today. As a result, the advice it provides is irrelevant, and the predictions are also inaccurate.

If I disable period predictions, the calendar becomes almost useless because it no longer reminds me that my period is approaching. At that point, I might as well use Google Calendar with a recurring reminder every 28 days, which would be more useful than the current implementation.
