How to keep notifications in iOS Notification Center for later use?

I receive App notifications on my Fenix 7 - good! However, some notifications say, e.g. “tap here to see more”. Obviously I can’t tap on the watch.

Problem is that the notification can no longer be found in the iOS’ notification center, Garmin Connect App automatically "consumed" it. The app in question doesn't store it either, so it's permanently gone...

So, how can I have notifications delivered both to the watch and the phone's notification center?

    I did not use my iPhone since while, but as far as I remember, the notification is only removed from the Notification Center when you dismiss it on the watch. So if you just let the notification on the watch disappearing after the timeout, or go away from it with the Back button after viewing it, without dismissing, it stays both, on the watch, and in the Notification Center of the phone.

    No, sorry, that didn’t work. When ignoring the message on the watch it’s still gone on the phone…

    If you are not opening the notification on the watch, then it should still show up both on the watch and phone's notification centers. 

    If that is not the case, please take a video of how you are viewing the notification for it to then clear from both the watch and phone and share it here. **

    I will try to do that next time such message comes in, but:

    - as I said, the notification shows on the watch without any user interaction. I do not interact with the notification on the watch at all. It will clear automatically after some time. I guess that's what you mean with "open on the watch". I don't open it on the watch

    - the message is now gone on the watch, it is no longer in the notification center (swipe down when the phone is unlocked). Neither is it shown on the lock screen

    - I meanwhile noticed that this disappearing beahvior only happens with some apps, not all. Things like Facebook messenger app notifications still show in the iOS notification center. Notifications from banking apps however ("tap here to see latest transaction") disappear as described. There appear to be several types of notification messages on iOS, the Garmin app consuming only some of them.
