Enduro 2 — Bluetooth lost after Garmin Connect update, Wi-Fi sync works fine (iPhone 15 Pro)

Hi all,

My Enduro 2 has stopped connecting to my iPhone via Bluetooth. The watch still shows as "Connected" in iOS Bluetooth settings, but Garmin Connect doesn't see it. Wi-Fi sync works fine.

Setup:

  • Watch: Garmin Enduro 2, firmware 26.09
  • Phone: iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 26.5
  • Garmin Connect: 5.25

Already tried:

  • Restarted watch and iPhone
  • Reset watch settings
  • Updated firmware via Garmin Express
  • Reinstalled Garmin Connect
  • Unpaired from iOS Bluetooth and re-paired
  • Removed watch from Garmin account via web, re-added
  • Verified Bluetooth permissions for Garmin Connect in iPhone Settings

Nothing helped. The issue started after a Garmin Connect update and persists through 5.25. From what I've read, this is affecting Forerunner 965, Enduro 3, Fenix 7 and other models on iOS — so it looks like a Garmin Connect bug, not a hardware issue.

Has anyone found a working fix? Is Garmin aware and tracking this?

  • Device: Garmin Fenix 7 Pro
    Software Version: 26.09
    Phone: iPhone running iOS 26.4.2

I would like to report a possible bug introduced in software version 26.09.

The watch appears to lose communication with Garmin Connect, even though the Bluetooth connection itself remains active.

    When this occurs:

    • The Garmin Connect app shows the watch as disconnected.
    • Weather data no longer updates on the watch.
    • Features that require Garmin Connect communication, such as Find My Phone, stop working.

However, the watch still appears connected through Bluetooth:

    • The Fenix 7 Pro remains listed as connected in the iPhone Bluetooth settings.
    • Phone notifications continue to be delivered to the watch.
    • Incoming call notifications and contact names are displayed correctly.

This suggests that the Bluetooth connection remains active, but communication between Garmin Connect and the watch is somehow interrupted.

The issue is consistently resolved by turning Bluetooth off and back on from the iPhone Settings app. Once Bluetooth reconnects, Garmin Connect immediately recognizes the watch again and all affected functions return to normal.

Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue with version 26.09?
