phone alerts

I am using a fenix 8 and a iPhone 17 Pro. 

Recently phone calls and text messages have stopped showing up on my watch. All my notifications and alerts are enabled and tone and vibrate are turned on. 

I have turned my watch on and off 3 times yesterday, as well as my phone but they still do not come in. 

My daughter called me a few days ago asking why her phone stopped notifying her on her watch when I noticed mine wasn't doing it either. Then we found out my girl friend's is also not alerting (although it did this morning). 

Can anyone offer help?

  •  , as sceptical as you might be because all three of you are having issues with the notifications, I'd like for you to go over all the troubleshooting steps found here. Then please reply to the following questions so I can better determine the cause.

    1.  What was the outcome of the troubleshooting steps from that link? Anything that stood out in that process?
    2. Can you verify if your watch gets the notification but doesn't vibrate despite the vibration being enabled? You can test this with someone texting you and observing the screen. You can also test a vibrating alarm.
    3. You mentioned your daughter and girlfriend are experiencing the same issues. What Garmin watches do they own?
    4. What phone (make and model) do they own?
    5. What was the outcome for them when attempting the troubleshooting linked above?
