I have noticed a possible bug since updating my Fenix 7 Pro to software version 26.09.
During the night, while both the watch and phone are idle, the watch appears to lose part of its connection with Garmin Connect by the next morning.
Symptoms include:
- Weather data is no longer updating.
- The Garmin Connect app shows the watch as disconnected.
- Features that require Garmin Connect communication, such as Find My Phone, do not work.
However, Bluetooth connectivity does not appear to be completely lost because:
- Phone notifications are still delivered to the watch.
- Incoming call notifications are received correctly.
- Contact names are displayed normally.
The issue is consistently resolved by turning Bluetooth off and back on again on the iPhone. Once the connection is re-established, Garmin Connect reconnects immediately and all affected functions, including weather updates and Find My Phone, work normally again.
This behavior appears to occur only after an overnight idle period and has been happening consistently since the update to version 26.09.
Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue?
