Connect App crashes when adding notes to Blood Pressure readings

When adding notes to blood pressure readings taken by the Index BPM and synced to Garmin Connect, Connect will crash if you try to add a note to readings taken on more than two days. 

As an example, if I have a reading taken on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and I want to add a note to each one, I can add a note to Tuesday and Monday, but the moment I tap the text box for Sunday, the app will crash. 

This crash seems to be day specific and not reading specific, as I have been able to update multiple readings on a single day and on two days, but the moment the text field on a third day is selected it will crash. A current work around for this is to exit the Blood Pressure page and go back to either the Home page or the Health Stats page, re-enter the Blood Pressure page, and navigate back to the day you left off at.

    Good catch. Tried this and it crashes as you’ve outlined. My version of Connect is 5.21.1 so that tells me this bug has been around for awhile - at least there’s a work around as you’ve pointed out.

    Further information for the bug. 

    1. It is still present as of the current version, 5.26.0.9

    2. Garmin Connect will also crash if you edit the text of one day and then try to edit the text of a reading two days away, without having to edit the day between. For example, if I edit the Note for a reading on Wednesday, then go back to Monday and try to edit the text of a note there, it will crash. However, going back a further day to Sunday will allow you to edit the note as normal. 

    3. Similarly, if you edit two consecutive days notes, such as Wednesday and Tuesday, Garmin Connect will crash the moment you tap the text field for a note on a reading on Monday or on Sunday. However, navigating back to Saturday and attempting to edit the note there will allow you to edit the note as normal. 

    4. Following the same steps as 3, but not attempting to edit a note for a reading done on Saturday will allow you to navigate back to Sunday or Monday and edit and notes there. If you do edit a note on Saturday as I described in 3, you can continue to edit any notes attached to readings on either Friday or Sunday, but attempting to do so on either Thursday or Monday will still crash. 

    Based on this, it seems the issue causing the app to crash has something to do with the text fields on any readings taken exactly two days away from a reading you have edited, but is being cleared if you navigate to a day further away than that. Any edited text box, even if just tapped on then closed out without adding any text, will restart this crash process. I do not have an Android to confirm if this bug is also present there, but I have not seen it on PC.

       Does uninstalling and reinstalling the Connect app help with this at all? **

    It does not, the crash still occurs. Tested using both an iPhone 16 and an iPad Air 11 inch M2.
