People can’t accept my friend request

Subject: Broken Account Connections: Reciprocity loop and "ghost" requests after mass deletion

Body:

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a persistent and very specific bug with my Garmin Connect account connections that even official support hasn't been able to solve after two weeks of troubleshooting.

The Problem: I cannot establish mutual connections with other users. While people can follow me, I cannot follow them back. When I send a request and the other person accepts it, the request simply reappears on their end immediately as if it was never accepted. On my end, it looks like the request is still "Pending" or never went through.

Background & Timeline:

  1. I originally had around 900 connections.

  2. I did a mass cleanup, deleting my list down to about 300.

  3. Immediately after this, the "reciprocity" broke. I could no longer successfully add new friends.

What I have tried (none of which worked):

  • Web vs. App: The issue persists on both the Garmin Connect mobile app and the Web version.

  • Extreme Cleanup: I eventually deleted all my followers and everyone I was following (starting from zero).

  • Account Changes: I changed my account email address, but the bug stayed with my profile.

  • Support: I’ve been in contact with Garmin Support for 2 weeks. I provided diagnostic logs (Code: 3TNRJ) and screen recordings, but they are currently stumped.

It seems like my account is stuck in some kind of "rate limit" or database conflict triggered by the mass deletion of 600+ users.

Has anyone else experienced this "request loop"? Is there any way to force-refresh the account's social database? Any help or advice from the community (или Garmin devs) would be greatly appreciated.

Device: Venu 3 Account Status: Currently 0 followers / 0 following, yet still unable to add anyone.
