
I’ve got a HRM600 connected to Connect mobile. I had a Fenix 6X that’s been returned to Garmin for a replacement (7X) and that was previously my primary device with HRM as secondary. I have no other devices connected to the HRM600 and it’s sitting on a wooden desk top.
I removed 6X from my account when I returned it. I’m going to log a report with Garmin because I’m not sure if it’s Connect issue.
My problem is that the HRM600 remains connected to Connect (I can see HR reading while HRM in blue tooth shows ‘not connected’). As an example, in the picture you can see HR readings during the night when I wasn’t wearing strap. Additionally, the HRM600 wasn’t synced to Connect or my account until about 4 hours later.
I suspect it’s the ANT+ connection not switching off. I’ve removed the HRM600 and green indicator is off and walked over 20 metres before it shows no HR in Connect mobile.
I’ve got a small house and have to walk outside to see that disconnection so it’s not feasible to store HRM somewhere else. I’m going to wrap it in foil temporarily.
i have removed HRM from Connect mobile but without my 6X I can’t see home screen data so I reconnected HRM 600 again and time activities on the HRM waiting for a replacement.
additionally, with Fenix 6X removed from account, the Training Load hasn’t moved for 2 days. HRM 600 data isn’t included in Training Load calculation (disappointing because before I returned 6X I did activities only measured on HRM600 and they did sync load data to connect.
